Features:
- Fast, consistent results
- No cross contamination
- Samples stays cool
- Convenient and easy to use
APPLICATIONS:
Lysing cells such as yeast and E.coli, or mammalian cell culture, to homogenizing tough tissues such as cartiledge, tumors, heart, aorta, tail snips, muscle, uterus, and hair, as well as other organs such as liver, spleen, kidney, brain, lung, phyranx, stomach/intestine, lymph nodes, adipose, and skin from rodents, primates, or any animal. Other organisms like Drosophila, C. elegans, Apis mellefera and Danio rerio are amenable to Bullet Blender™ processing.
Homognize plant tissue such as leaves, beans, nuts, berries, roots, sugar cane, etc. It's also used for extended vortexing or grinding, like chemical extractions or in applications such as phenol/chloroform extraction, blood processing and meconium metabolite extraction.
