0.30ml Tubes External Thread





To address the need for low volume genomics, the 0.30ml tube with Vr-bottom enables miniaturization of reaction volume required in genomic applications.




0.40ml Tubes External Thread





The 0.40ml tube enables efficient storage of low volumes of liquid samples.




0.50ml Tubes Internal Thread





The small 0.50ml sample vials can be supplied non-coded, alphanumeric coded or with a unique 2D code (Data-Matrix adhere to the ECC200 standard). The cryo vials are standard available in the 96-well format 96-1 Rack and 96-Q1 Rack.




0.75ml X-Clear Tube, externally threaded

1.40ml Tubes Internal Thread





The Micronic 1.40ml storage tubes with internal thread and flat outer bottom are provided with a code surface that cannot be separated from the transparent tube due the unique 2K injection molding technique. As a result, tube codes can never wear or fall off. The 1.40ml tubes are standard available in the 96-well format Micronic 96-4 Rack or Comorack.

External Thread Hybrid





The Micronic tubes with external thread hybrid uniquely combine automated and visual sample identification.

  • The visual codes allow researchers to quickly identify samples or verify codes during the storage/retrieval process or field research.
  • The transparent parts of the tube wall enable easy visual checking of the sample.
  • The 1D and 2D barcode can be read by automated systems.
  • The bottom code surface of the tubes features a raised edge, which protects the 2D Data-Matrix code against accidental scratches.
  • Due to the unique injection molding technique used to manufacture the hybrid tubes, the white bottom and side walls cannot be separated from the transparent tube.
  • The high contrast 1D, 2D and human-readable codes are permanently laser-etched into the white surfaces, so that they can never wear or fall off.
  • The triple screw thread of the hybrid tubes gives an excellent closure for long-term sample preservation and storage at ultra-low temperatures.
  • To prevent the screw cap from overturning – manually or mechanically – the cap is designed with a unique lock when sealed.
  • The cap is available in nine different colors.
